MSARP Final Exam


Description
Main Street America Institute participants who have successfully completed both the Community Transformation and the Leadership Development certificate programs are eligible to take the final exam, which is the final step to earning the Main Street America Revitalization Professional (MSARP) credential.

The comprehensive exam covers the wide range of subject matter taught over the course of the Institute. This exam requires participants to demonstrate mastery of the subject matter as well as illustrate the ability to apply knowledge learned. The exam is divided into two sections:

1) Multiple Choice: The first section of the exam consists of 75 multiple choice questions that test basic comprehension of Community Transformation and Leadership Development coursework.

2) Essay: The second section of the exam consists of six essay questions that test participants’ ability to apply concepts learned throughout the Community Transformation and Leadership Development coursework. The questions are divided into three main areas: 1) Principles and Practices; 2) Planning and Strategy; 3) Decision Making and Leadership.

Upon registering for the test, participants will be provided with further instructions and details regarding the passing criteria.

Both sections of the test must be completed and submitted within 180 days of assignment to receive the Main Street America Revitalization Professional credential.
