Advanced Principles of Economic Vitality (APEV23)

How can your organization best position your commercial district program to catalyze the local economy? Let us show you the way! Join Advanced Principles of Economic Vitality for the key tools to strengthen and diversify your commercial district. During this three week course, participants will learn how to:

1. Develop a stronger Economic Vitality Work Plan using available market and commercial assessment data.
2. Strengthen their Business Retention program using a variety of business retention, expansion and succession initiatives.
3. Work with property owners and their realtors to identify and attract new investment to the district through a variety of business recruitment and redevelopment initiatives.

Each week will feature 1.5-hour online course with pre-readings, assignments/quizzes, and interaction with your peers.

Can’t participate live? Recorded sessions are available until May 26, 2023.

Format: This online course will consist of three live online sessions – one per week for three weeks – at 1.5 hours each. For your convenience, each session will be recorded so that registrants who are unable to attend will be able to view it on-demand. Live participation is highly encouraged.
